You hereby indemnify BirrLink Financial Technologies and undertake to keep BirrLink Financial Technologies indemnified against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including legal expenses) incurred or suffered by BirrLink Financial Technologies arising out of any breach by you of any provision of these Terms and Conditions.

8. Merchant and Sub-merchant Restrictions

Prohibited Merchant Activities (Strictly Forbidden)

  • Any product, service, or activity that is deceptive, unfair, predatory, or prohibited by one or more Card Brands.
  • Selling goods or services that violate any law, statute, or regulation, or infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Adult entertainment websites.
  • Brand damaging activities incl. Child Pornography, Escort Services.
  • Digital Wallet, Cryptocurrency, or Prepaid Companies.
  • Firearms and weapons.
  • Investment or get-rich quick schemes.
  • Multi-level marketing.

Sub-merchants Requiring Pre-Approval

  • Age-restricted services.
  • International card sales exceeding 20% of volume.
  • NGO / Charity merchants.
  • Money transfer services (licensed only).

9. General Provisions

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by Ethiopian law.
  • Disputes will be subject to Ethiopian courts.

Privacy and Confidentiality

  • By accepting these Terms, you accept our Privacy Policy.
  • BirrLink Financial Technologies maintains confidentiality except where required by law.

10. Termination of Service

BirrLink Financial Technologies may terminate your access immediately for breach of Terms or regulatory requirement.

Termination does not relieve prior obligations.
